LAUNCH OF THE TES WEBSITE

The TES website was officially launched by Mr. Dan Wallace, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of the Environment and Local Government on Wednesday the 28th of March 2001. The launch served to promote the capabilities of TES Consulting Engineers and to publicise the National Litter Pollution Monitoring System. The launch was also attended by Mr. Tom Dowling County Manager Carlow County Council, who is a member of the Steering Group for the National Litter Pollution Monitoring System, Ms. Deirdre Galvin of the Local Government Computer Services Board, and Ms. Lucia O'Byrne of Optip Web Development, who helped TES to compile the website. Mr. Ray Rochford of the Local Government Computer Services Board was unable to attend.

NEW SIGNINGS FOR THE TES TEAM

TES would like to welcome on board two new members to the team. They are Mr. Nigel Barnes, Project Manager and Ms. Mairead Hogan, Project Scientist. Nigel has many years experience in the fields of mining, quarrying, geotechnical and hydrogeological engineering, surveying and visualisation. Mairead is just starting out in her career and is an Arts Graduate of N.U.I. Cork. Mairead is currently finishing a Master Degree in Sustainable Development in the D.I.T. Bolton Street. We look forward to working with both Nigel and Mairead, and hope that they will enjoy their time at TES.
